As of 2020, the modern world is undeniably diverse. People still fight for social justice, but history proves that the world did, in fact, change over time. Nevertheless, many filmmakers like to honor history through compelling films, and one of the best is simply entitled, The Mission.
A Toast!
Featuring an all-star cast, this historical epic is undeniably beautiful. The cinematography, costumes, and production design are the products of careful research and authenticity. Furthermore, Robert Bolt won a Golden Globe for crafting a very captivating story that promotes racial equality for all. Finally, Ennio Morricone’s epic score truly enhances the drama within a compelling film edited with sheer precision, passion, and respect for differing people.
Verdict
Tom Cruise might have starred within the famed Mission: Impossible action film series, but The Mission is a very adventurous tale that advocates international understanding!
