“Karma” is the explosive, in your face new single from Sonic Fuel that features really killer sounding guitar and thunderous drumming. The music is what will grab you instantly. And yes, “Karma” is exactly what you think the track is about. But let’s talk more about the music.
Once it’s on, the music comes at you full force. This is hard rock 2020 style. “Karma” features really badass musicianship all throughout the track and that’s what I hope you focus on. “Karma” centers on the “what goes around, comes around” philosophy if you believe in it (full disclosure, I don’t. Why do bad things happen to good people if Karma is real?) Lyrics like “Karma is such a bitch. You know it’s going to find you” are not exactly fresh, but have long become cliché. Preaching against the man who will get theirs one day has been done before.
Despite the lyrics being at best unoriginal, it doesn’t take away from the incredible music that backs them up. Pick up three beers and hope karma doesn’t get you this time.
