There is no need to deny the competition within the fashion industry. In fact, The Devil Wears Prada is a modern classic that directly portrays the tough nature of that business. Furthermore, Hollywood could demand a lot out of people within the entertainment field. That is one of the main ideas of A New Kind of Love.
A Toast!
First of all, this film does feature colorful costumes and a delightful music score. Additionally, Joanne Woodward earned a Golden Globe nomination for her leading performance.

Unfortunately, this film is more or less an overly simplified romantic comedy (especially since the plot is a bit too basic).

On a side note, some of the credits written for this film are highly unusual.
Verdict
Even though there is no business like show business, the fashion world is tough as well!
