Tennessee Williams remains an (in)famous American author. His writing scandalized the so-called “Happy Days” of 1950s American society. Nevertheless, his work has resulted in some of the best films ever produced. Perhaps best-known for A Streetcar Named Desire, an equally powerful film from his pen is Baby Doll.
A Toast!
Nominated for four Academy Awards, this film is unbelievably sexy! Carroll Baker’s starring role is very seductive, especially since her character is in lingerie for most of the film. In fact, this film is so amazing that it is one of the few films to have a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Unfortunately, this film is so steamy that many countries banned it during its original release.
