King Kong remains a cinematic classic. In fact, that is part of the reason why Peter Jackson released a remake in 2005. Shockingly, that film received zero Academy Award nominations. That fact has actually upset some film lovers. Furthermore, the film that won “Best Picture” that year is the somewhat forgettable film Cavalcade.
A Toast!
First of all, this film is special in its own right. In fact, it received an Academy Award for its production design. Additionally, Diana Wynyard received a nomination for her leading role. Furthermore, some would consider this film the best achievement from director Frank Lloyd.
Beer Two
Unfortunately, not that many modern audiences even know about the existence of this film.
Verdict
Finally, it is funny how some classics are not exactly classics.
