I recently heard from a millennial Southerner that old-school country music touches your soul as no other music can. That’s the best way to describe Geoff Gibbons’ newest country single “Feet Out the Window”.
Sounding very Americana despite Gibbons’ Canadian roots, “Feet Out the Window” has feel-good vibes but the lyrics actually come from the place of a broken heart. Describing better days with a former lover, Gibbons manages to describe the hurt, yet the song is perfect for long drives, forgetting what you’re leaving behind, and just moving forward.
Whether you’re a millennial or a baby boomer, “Feet Out the Window” will touch your soul. Enjoy with a beer in hand.
