War dramas are a popular film genre. Specifically, films set during World War II can captivate audiences. One of the best war dramas is The Bold and the Brave.
A Toast!
This is a very rich and vibrant film. First of all, the screenplay takes the war narrative to a whole new level. Furthermore, Mickey Rooney earned an Academy Award nomination for his supporting role in this film.

Unfortunately, this film does have depressing moments. *Spoiler* Mickey Rooney’s character dies from a hand grenade explosion.
Verdict
The 2020 remake of Mulan has a song entitled, “Loyal, Brave, and True.” It takes a lot of bravery to enjoy a film like The Bold and the Brave.
