Do a Shot And Have a Great Time: when you see the wrong Missy travelling with Tim because that’s the start of the madness in Hawaii.

The wrong Missy turns out to be the right Missy for Tim along the way. Tim, on a blind date, is not so pleased with Missy. She plays her pranks and is crazy as hell (Despite that she is so so real…). Missy and her craziness have no bounds. She is messy, clumsy, irritating, and a jack of all trades, or she claims to be. Tim falls for Melissa and thinking of her, he mistakenly messages Missy. Missy in her delightful quirkiness explains to Tim how by messaging her he saved her life. She wasn’t going to commit suicide; she was going bungee jumping.
Tim invites her to a work retreat to Hawaii. And there all the fun begins with Missy leaving Tim embarrassed for the most part of it with every dummy thing she does. But Missy hypnotizes the new CEO Jack Winstone (Geoff Pierson) to make things right for Tim. Everything between Tim and Missy is sensuous and funny. They seem more compatible with each other, although you do not find any similarities between them.
A Toast
Lauren Lapkus as Missy is the best at every delivery of her dialogue or display of emotion. By her presence, she enlivens the movie alongside the life of Tim. The director Tyler Spindel has done a marvelous job at roping her in. Tim as a simple and lost soul delivers his performances as required; nothing overboard. Jack Winstone falls a bit flat when he overdoes vomiting at the presence of Jess. The movie comes together as a perfect piece of comedy with Tim and Missy hardly forcing it to happen. Its authenticity and naturalness make it a success.
Beer Two
Missy had her hard times, but we get to know of her present and not much of her past (only a sentence or two explaining it). Tim’s earlier broken relationship was hinted at, but not discussed. The majority of the time you see Tim and Missy on the screen and at some point, it could lead to disinterestedness.
Verdict
It is fun to see the chemistry between these two different, broken, imperfect souls. With the on-point comedy delivery of most of the characters, this is one of the best you can plan to watch. You are sure to be entertained with the sensuous language and performances. The wrong Missy was always the right Missy for Tim.
