First of all, many people dread high school. In fact, usually after graduation, people from high school never talk to each other ever again. Nevertheless, awkward adolescence is uniquely cinematic. That is part of the reason why Peggy Sue Got Married remains a seminal teen drama classic.

Nominated for three Academy Awards, this is an original high school fantasy dramedy. In fact, Kathleen Turner delivers an Oscar-worthy performance as Peggy Sue. Furthermore, the film features great cinematography and costumes.
