Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) Movie Drinking Game & Review

Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) Movie Drinking Game

Take a Drink: for every instance of guilt

Drink a Shot: every time adultery complicates the plot

But Still Cheer: for Woody Allen as a cinematic genius!

By: Alex Phuong (A Toast) –

Committing crimes could cost people a lot.  Nevertheless, criminal activity is almost always present within society.  Because of that, there is a unique combination of drama and dark comedy associated with that reality.  That also inspired Woody Allen to write, direct, and star in Crimes and Misdemeanors.

A Toast!

Nominated for three Academy Awards, this is a very original classic.  Furthermore, Martin Landau earned an Academy Award nomination for his supporting role.  Additionally, this film features a lot of the trademarks that continue to make Woody Allen himself.  Finally, this film is both hilarious and powerful.

Verdict

Sometimes it is fun to be bad (even though that within itself could be a crime and/or misdemeanor) (pun intended)!
