First of all, there is something beautiful about canoeing that is hard to describe. In fact, the titular Pocahontas sang the song “Just Around the Riverbend” in the Disney animated classic. Additionally, other films feature that activity, and one of the best is Deliverance.

Nominated for three Academy Awards, this film features amazing editing. Furthermore, the way the film showcases canoeing makes it both thrilling and adventurous. Additionally, John Boorman earned an Oscar nomination for directing this film. Finally, Boorman also deserved his Oscar nomination for “Best Picture” for producing this film.

Ultimately, this film does deliver (pun intended)!
