Henry V is notable for his contributions to history amidst the Hundred Years’ War. Because of his enduring legacy, it is not surprising that William Shakespeare would dramatize the life of Henry V in a historical play. The BBC production reigns supreme as it honors the reign of Henry V (pun intended).

This is a brilliant adaptation of William Shakespeare’s historical drama. The visual design of this BBC production is focused on large open spaces to make it look different from the TV movies about Henry IV. The film also appears surprisingly realistic even though it is just a TV movie that brings a Shakespeare play to the television screen.
Verdict
The world has changed a lot since 1415, but Henry V’s legacy lives on in the Shakespeare play that bears his name.
