Biopics are a popular film genre. In fact, many people enjoy seeing the lives of others displayed on the big screen. Unfortunately, just because a film is based on a real person does not give it credibility. That is the case for Night and Day.
A Toast!
First of all, the music in this film is amazing, and even earned an Oscar nomination.
Beer Two
Unfortunately, this film takes several liberties of the life of its subject, Cole Porter.
Beer Three
Furthermore, Cary Grant does not even look like Cole Porter. Additionally, Porter himself hated this film, and Cary Grant did not even enjoy starring in this musical.
Verdict
Finally, this musical is not really that watchable for both nighttime and daytime (pun intended).
