Recorded during the early weeks of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, under threats of air strikes, and produced and arranged in various cities around the world comes “My Revolution”, a poignantly reminder of the atrocities of war. With lead vocals provided by Ukrainian singer Taras Kuznetzov, “My Revolution” pulls no punches as it describes what living in a war zone, the toll it takes, and the evil one sees all feel like.
“My Revolution” may be dark, but it will bring people up to speed through song to the ongoing situation. While the war is hardly a revolution, the song can serve as an inspiration for all those involved and those who have loved ones living through this atrocity. It’s hardly an optimistic song, or even a song that delivers hope, yet it can still inspire. The song should be heard and heard loud.
