First of all, war does oftentimes result in negative consequences. Nevertheless, coping with adversity takes courage. In fact, doing exactly that potentially thaws a frozen heart (cue the Frozen reference). For example, The Hasty Heart is a war drama filled with heart (pun intended).

Overall, this film is an amazing film released shortly after the end of World War II. Furthermore, the film honors the original stage play by John Patrick. Finally, Richard Todd definitely earned his Oscar nomination for his leading performance.
Verdict
Conclusively, having a heart full of love is better than having “a hasty heart” (pun intended again)!
