It is a real shame that Sean Connery passed away. Nevertheless, his legacy endures because of his cinematic contributions. He won an Oscar for his supporting role in The Untouchables, and has also played leading roles. One of the best examples is The Man Who Would Be King.

Nominated for four Academy Awards, this is a very beautiful film. Based on the story by Rudyard Kipling, this film features stunning sets and sumptuous costumes. Furthermore, Maurice Jarre earned a Golden Globe nomination for his original score. Finally, this is one of the best films that John Huston co-wrote and directed.
Verdict
Please do not confuse the title of this film with the song, “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” from The Lion King!
