Some of the best films are biopics. In fact, early Hollywood history features films within that particular genre. Additionally, Paul Muni was a real star at that time. In fact, he only won one Academy Award, but that was because he starred in The Story of Louis Pasteur.

Even though this film is less than ninety minutes long, it still honors that historical figure. Furthermore, the screenplay almost reinvents the life of Louis Pasteur. Additionally, this film features what could be Paul Muni’s greatest performance.
Verdict
Finally, this film is one of the best of them all, and not just a “Best Picture” nominee!
