When it comes to nominations, “more” usually implies “better.” Nevertheless, films do not necessarily need so many Academy Award nominations. One example of a great “Best Picture” nominee with few nominations is Three Coins in the Fountain.

Three Coins in the Fountain is truly compelling! First of all, the film features gorgeous cinematography. Furthermore, the title song is a highly original song. Finally, this “Best Picture” nominee truly honors the legacy of the original novel by John H. Secondari.
Verdict
People might do what the Romans do in the city of Rome, and why not throw “three coins in the fountain” as well? (pun intended!)
