First of all, flames would sometimes represent both fiery passion and dangerous desire. In fact, that is why the saying, “Don’t play with fire!” is such an iconic statement. Nevertheless, such drama could actually make a film very entertaining. That is the case for Keeper of the Flame.

Starring Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, this is a highly original drama. Aside from the two leads, this film features gorgeous costumes from Adrian. Additionally, this film brings I.A.R. Wylie’s novel to life thanks to the brilliance of director George Cukor.
