First of all, devils definitely scare people. In fact, sometimes devilish people make life a figurative ****. Even Meryl Streep earned an Oscar nomination as the titular Devil Wears Prada! Because of such terror, dealing with devils involves a lot of drama. That is the case for The Devil at 4 O’Clock.
A Toast!
Overall, this film is a nice adaptation of the novel by Max Catto. Furthermore, the film features Hollywood favorites, including Spencer Tracy and Frank Sinatra.
Beer Two
Unfortunately, the plot is a bit too simple, and this is not one of the best films that Mervyn LeRoy had directed.
Verdict
Finally, watch out for the devil, and use time carefully, too!
